Sharon Haas

Sharon Haas (known to her students as “Gigi”) came to Rockwern Academy (then Yavneh) in 1979 and taught second, third, and fourth grades for 33 years! When she decided to work part-time, Mrs. Haas joined the ECEC staff where she has been with the 18 month olds and four year olds, and most recently has been with the threes.
She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in elementary education. Mrs Haas loves when her former students come back to visit and especially when she gets to teach their children. Outside of school, Mrs Haas is busy quilting. You can see some of her beautiful wall hangings around the building!
