Joan Fletcher
Teaching Assistant, Caterpillars
Joan Fletcher joined Rockwern in 2020 as an After Care Teacher, and in 2021 became a Teaching Assistant in the ECEC toddler class. Mrs. Fletcher started her career in the business world as an Order Processor, working up to Team Leader and then Senior Administrative Assistant over 21 years. She then managed a small medical office before coming to Rockwern. Mrs. Fletcher loved the connections she made with her After Care students and was happy to move into her new role with younger students. Outside of work, Mrs. Fletcher and her husband have spent many years donating time helping The Scratching Post (a non-kill cat shelter) - and even after all this time she feels it’s amazing that they only have one cat!
