Alexia Kadish
Science Teacher, Third and Fourth Grade
Alexia Kadish loves teaching science and began teaching at Rockwern in 2018. Mrs. Kadish taught many different grades, usually as a long-term substitute. As a parent of three Yavneh/Rockwern alumni, Mrs. Kadish has been associated with our school for more than 15 years. A graduate of the University of California, Davis, with a B.S. in Human Development, and elementary teaching credentials from California State University, Sacramento, Mrs. Kadish has been teaching in many capacities for more than 20 years.
While teaching in a self-contained classroom in California gave her experience in all subject areas, her passion has always been Math and Science. Mrs. Kadish loves seeing the looks of engagement and awe on her students’ faces when they latch on to a new science idea. When not in school, she can be found with her family enjoying the outdoors with their Westie, Cincy!
